Right now, one of the few policy issues both major
political parties can agree on is the need to increase
the size of the military. The only argument is by how much – one presidential candidate wants 100,000 more troops, another wants 92,000. Have the candidates and Congress learned nothing from the failure of unilateral military action in Iraq?
