Hiroshima and Nagasaki Days: August 6 and 9
This week marks the 63rd anniversary of the U.S. nuclear attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan. Nuclear weapons brought destruction and horror to these two cities, and the United States still has an arsenal of more than 6,000 of these weapons.
Use FCNL's flyer (PDF) to help spread the word about this anniversary and encourage candidates running for Congress to support cutting the U.S. nuclear arsenal by 50 percent.
Find out about a renewed vision for nuclear disarmament in FCNL's July-August Washington Newsletter.
